Nick Sharratt Week

Last week we had a fantastic week celebrating the author/illustrator Nick Sharratt.

He visited two of our nurseries to run illustration workshops, and read his stories to the children. There was also lots of activities planned around his fantastic books. These includedmessy play, story time, junk modelling, arts and crafts and a trip to the beach. The children especially enjoyed trying to rescue toy animals from jelly, playing with a giant red cardboard box rocket and reading Nick’s books at the beach.
