Hopscotch Worthing Kids & Dad La Soul Create Beachside Maths Rap

Last week, a group of our wonderful children from Hopscotch Worthing enjoyed a very special trip down to the beach! They teamed up with the brilliant Dad La Soul an inspiring community organisation dedicated to bringing dads, kids, and families together through creative and musical experiences.

West Sussex County Council commissioned Dad La Soul for an exciting project aimed at helping parents better engage with their children in maths. They've been collaborating with the Head of Maths at a local primary school, gathering valuable insights by asking children and their dads what they enjoy, love, or find challenging about maths.

These insights are being turned into a lively maths rap video, packed with rhythm, learning, and fun—with the talented Hopscotch children taking centre stage! We absolutely can't wait to see the final cut and share it with you all—watch this space!
