Hopscotch Seaford Trip to Seaford Head

Our Seaford nursery have taken on a new challenge with their children. East Sussex County Council have launched a fantastic initiative called ‘50 Things to do Before You're Five’. 50 Things to Do is aimed at helping parents and carers to help develop their home learning environment so that far more children thrive by the age of five.The pre-schoolers went on a big adventure last week and ticked off number 44 on the list – ‘Head to the Hills’.

They went on a listening walk along the seafront, taking in the sights of Martello Tower, Splash Point and Seaford Head. They enjoyed snacks with a view then headed back to nursery. The group loved counting the boats on the shore, saying all the colours of the beach huts, and taking in all the sounds they could hear along the way.
