A Special Author Visit at Hopscotch!

At Hopscotch, we love to inspire young minds through stories, and this week, we had a truly special visitor to our Brighton and Hove nurseries! We were delighted to welcome local author Elen Agasiants, writer of the heartwarming children’s book Flufflin and the Shooting Star.

Elen’s book carries a beautiful message about following your own path in life. She wrote the story when her own children were young, inspired by their very different passions and her wish for them to embrace their individuality. It was extra special to have Elen visit us, as her children once attended Hopscotch too!

During her visit, Elen captivated the children with her storytelling, bringing Flufflin and the Shooting Star to life. The little ones were fully engaged, listening intently and asking questions about the story. The book’s message of self-discovery and embracing what makes you unique resonated with them, making it a truly magical experience.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there! Next week, Elen will be visiting our Seaford and Peacehaven nurseries, sharing Flufflin and the Shooting Star with even more Hopscotch children. We can’t wait for them to enjoy this wonderful story and meet the author behind it!
